ICYMI: @aave's first public quarterly update took place Yesterday.
Highlights include:
> 2026 Roadmap (Leverage, vaults, team accts)
> SOC2 compliance
> Aave App (Fintech in front, DeFi in the back)
> Token centric model: 100% of Product & Protocol revenue to Aave DAO (BIG win)
After watching the livestream, I am quite certain that Aave is extremely well positioned to see exponential growth in 2026, and I can't see a scenario where this doesn't become the new standard for DeFi protocols.
Accountability & transparency will be increasingly important as this industry moves forward.

Anyone claiming DeFi yields are dead doesn't understand the mechanics behind them.
DeFi yields have always been cyclical.
High interest rates = lower DeFi utilization & supply APYs.
Low interest rates = higher DeFi utilization & supply APYs.
However, @sparkdotfi might've achieved permanently competitive yields by integrating high quality RWAs as collateral to their savings vaults.
By doing this, Spark is able to offer:
> Higher yields than the rest of DeFi during low utilization periods
> Higher yields than TradFi during high utilization periods
Quite genius if you ask me.
