$BTC One of the main events of the past week was the first meeting of the US Federal Reserve in 2026 regarding the key interest rate. On Wednesday, January 28, Fed Chair Jerome Powell (Jerome Powell) announced that the rate was kept unchanged, in the range of 3.5%–3.75%. The Fed's decision fully aligned with the consensus forecast. And although it did not cause an immediate crash in quotes, it clearly did not boost optimism among crypto investors — loans will not become cheaper, and borrowing money to buy crypto will not get easier.
