Recently, I have increasingly felt that the gap between first-tier and second-tier cities is not just about income levels.
The information density, opportunity density, and pace of life in first-tier cities are completely different. Many things happen there "naturally," whereas in other cities, you have to take a long detour. Resources, social circles, and choices are all on a different level.
