According to the latest official announcement from the Slerf (SLERF) team, the current SLERF tokens will be swapped to new contract token at a 1 old : 2 new. Gate will support this token swap and provide swap service for users. User’s SLERF tokens on Gate will be automatically swapped.
Gate will take the following steps:
- By 08:00 UTC on September 27, 2025, Gate will disable new leveraged lending and collateral lending for Slerf (SLERF).
- By 07:30 UTC on September 28, 2025, the SLERF/USDT futures trading will be set to [reduce-only] mode. If you have active positions, please adjust your strategy in advance.
- At 08:00 UTC on September 28, 2025, All SLERF/USDT positions will be automatically settled based on the average index price from the last 30 minutes before suspension. All unfilled orders will be canceled. Please close your positions before this time to avoid forced settlement.
- For users with active quantitative trading strategies involving SLERF, please adjust strategies in advance. All active strategies will be forcibly terminated before 08:00 UTC on September 28, 2025.
- At 03:00 UTC on September 29, 2025, Gate will suspend SLERF deposit, withdrawal, and spot trading services, including the SLERF_USDT spot pair, quantitative grid trading, Simple Earn, and margin trading.
- For users holding SLERF in Simple Earn, please manually redeem your assets in advance, or they will be automatically redeemed before 03:00 UTC on September 29, 2025.
- For users with outstanding Slerf (SLERF) margin loans, please repay your loans in advance. Otherwise, the loans will be automatically settled by 03:00 UTC on September 29, 2025.
