ChainCatcher 消息，据官方博客，稳定币发行商 Tether 宣布推出 Scudo，一种针对代币化黄金产品 Tether Gold (XAU₮)的新型记账单位，旨在让黄金重新成为人人可及的支付手段。
Tether 将一个 Scudo 定义为千分之一金衡盎司黄金（或千分之一 XAU₮），使 Tether 黄金能够实现更清晰的价格标注、更便捷的转账以及更直观的黄金价值使用。用户无需再以 XAU₮ 的复杂小数分数发送或定价资产，而是可以以整 Scudo 或部分 Scudo 单位进行交易，这不仅使黄金作为价值储存手段更加实用，也使其作为交换媒介更加便捷。
Tether 黄金仍由存放在安全金库中的实物黄金全额支持，其所有权可通过 Tether 的资产追踪工具在链上验证。 Scudo 不会改变 XAU₮ 的结构或支持基础，而是提供了一种更简单的方式来衡量和交易黄金价值，尤其是在价格持续攀升的背景下。
