Covalent (CQT) announced a subsidy program for the Cronos ecosystem

Covalent (CQT) announced the expansion of its subsidy program to developers in the Cronos ecosystem. This move aims to cultivate advancements and cooperation opportunities for Covalent through support and provision of resources for projects integrating Covalent’s solutions to develop products on the Cronos platform.

Covalent is currently the leading blockchain data solution on the Cronos ecosystem. With the ability to trace more than 100 billion encrypted transactions across 225 blockchains, Covalent’s Unifed API is the Web3 industry’s largest and most comprehensive data set

Covalent’s solutions are currently integrated in many aspects such as DeFi, AI, gaming, NFT, analytics,…, opening up many new approaches for projects on Cronos. Through Covalent’s API, developers can access a standardized set of databases to power Dapps, thereby gathering insights and driving progress.

Covalent’s grant program will award up to $25,000 in API credits for projects on Cronos. This financial support not only accelerates development here, but also contributes to forming an ecosystem of seamlessly linked solutions.

Since launching in Q3 2023, Covalent’s funding program has provided grants worth $600,000 to 40 projects, spanning aspects from DeFi, data analytics to AI.

The cooperation agreement with Covalent and Cronos also demonstrates the determination to promote blockchain technology and empower global developers. Through initiatives like the above, Covalent and Cronos hope to decentralize access to data and form an ecosystem of decentralized applications, opening up a new wave of growth for blockchain.
