RWA tokens and memecoins are rising by 2 digits

According to CoinGecko data, the market cap of RWA tokens currently stands at $5.6 billion, up more than 34 percent over the past 24 hours.

Among RWA token segment leaders, the biggest gainers were POLYX, the native token of the Polymesh blockchain, up 53%, DUSK up 49.5%, and Centrifuge up 31.9% over the past 24 hours.

Polymesh is a blockchain project designed specifically for security tokens and is one of many protocols related to real-world tokenization of assets, in which rights to assets are converted into digital tokens on the blockchain.

Real-world assets include a variety of tangible and intangible items, from physical assets to patents and copyrights. The tokenization of real-world assets promises to revolutionize the way these assets are handled and traded, a change that could increase liquidity, accessibility, and efficiency in asset management.

Memecoin Market

Along with the boom of the RWA token segment, the memecoin market is also surging, with capitalization up 17% to $55.7 billion on the day.

The majority of the top 10 memecoins by market capitalization have all posted double-digit gains over the past 24 hours. Leading the way was BOME with returns of more than 25%, followed by Floki +23.6%, DOGE +15.4%, CorgiAI +13.8%, PEPE +11.5% and Slerf +10.5%. The remaining tokens in the top are recording returns of 4-7%.
