🚨 AI AGENTS NOW HAVE MEMORY, SLEEP, AND EVOLUTION

OpenClaw just dropped a major upgrade turning agents into persistent systems, not chat tools.
It adds REM-style “dreaming” where agents replay past logs, extract durable facts, and promote them into long term memory automatically without needing a second memory stack.
There’s now timeline-based memory, diary logs, and backfill systems that let agents reconstruct history and learn from weeks of activity instead of starting fresh every session.
Under the hood, this pushes agents toward continuous learning loops where memory becomes infrastructure, not context, meaning agents can evolve from experience rather than prompts.
At the same time, security is being hardened across the stack, with stricter controls on untrusted inputs, browser actions, and system events to prevent exploits as agents gain more autonomy.
This is the shift
From stateless chatbots
To stateful digital operators
That remember, learn
And improve over time
