ETHGas Platform for Annual Distribution Eligibility Check GWEI is now available

ETHGas Foundation has announced the launch of the official verification portal to assess users’ eligibility for the annual GWEI token distribution. The organization stated on its official X platform account that the new system began operation in early 2025, allowing participants to verify their entitlement before the distribution process starts.

Eligibility Criteria: Usage History and Social Participation

ETHGas relies on two main criteria to determine who qualifies for the annual distribution. The first criterion focuses on the historical record of Gas consumption on the Ethereum mainnet, documented through a Gas ID created prior to the critical Snapshot moment. This record serves as a “proof of actual usage” of the network, reflecting the user’s level of engagement with the Ethereum ecosystem.

The second criterion pertains to verified social participation within the ETHGas platform and its strategic initiative “Future Community Plan Without Gas.” This encourages users to actively engage with the community, not just passively use services.

Distribution Schedule and Next Steps

The reward distribution process will begin in mid-January of the previous year at 21:00 Asia Eastern Time. This scheduled time allows users across different time zones to follow the distribution process and ensure they receive their tokens in their digital wallets.

Interested users are advised to verify their eligibility for the annual distribution by visiting the official ETHGas platform and checking their account information. Make sure your connected wallet has sufficient Gas consumption records and that your social participation is properly documented before the receipt date.
