Locked vs Dynamic — Stability Without Losing Relevance

Traders quit auto-trendlines because of repainting anxiety — lines shift, disappear, and trust fades.
The solution? Stability controls.
🔹 Dynamic Mode – More reactive, adapts quickly to new pivots. Great for studying structure evolution, but easier to overtrade.
🔹 Locked Mode – More stable, fewer redraws. Better for real-time decision-making and clean structure reference.
⚙️ Replace vs Keep
Replace: Updates structure as market evolves (cleaner chart).
Keep Broken: Good for journaling, but can add clutter.
📓 Simple Edge-Building Tip:
Screenshot key diagonal breaks and track whether retests respect the old level (role flip). After 20–30 samples, you’ll see which market conditions are stable vs chaotic.
Bottom line: No tool can freeze structure without losing relevance. Stability is about choosing the right balance for your workflow.
