Warner Bros. Games is closing three development studios: Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and Warner Bros. San Diego, and has canceled the highly anticipated Wonder Woman game. The decision is part of a “strategic change in direction” focusing on “fewer but bigger franchises” to improve profitability and quality. This follows previous layoffs and the resignation of the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president.
