IT Home, February 24 — Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon announced yesterday that the company’s first rack-scale AI hardware and software full-stack solution has arrived in Saudi Arabia and is beginning delivery to partner HUMAIN’s data center.

IT Home Note:

HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin stated that this rack system is based on Qualcomm’s AI100 technology, likely referring to the 2023-released Cloud AI100 Ultra rather than the original 2019 version, Cloud AI100.

Amon claimed that the delivered system is fully optimized for hybrid AI workloads from edge to cloud, with commercial availability expected as early as March, supporting AI inference services in Saudi Arabia and globally.

HUMAIN will deploy 1,024 AI100 accelerators in the first phase, making it one of Qualcomm’s largest deployments worldwide, with Adobe as the first customer.
