of the Gate Layer L2
ecosystem, the opportunities are everywhere—but so is the noise.
When a new token hits the board, here is my 3-step
evaluation framework:
1️⃣
Sector Potential (The "Wind at
the Back" Test): I look for "Narrative Congruence." Right
now, I’m watching ZK-proof
infrastructure and AI-integrated
DeFi. If a project is solving a real scalability issue (like Brevis does
with ZK-omnichain data), it gets a higher priority than isolated apps.
2️⃣
Fundamentals over Hype: Before
I click buy, I check:

Tokenomics: Is there a massive unlock coming? I prefer
"HODLer Airdrop" style distributions where the community is
incentivized to stay.

Utility: Does the token have a "burn" or
"fee-capture" mechanic? (Similar to how $GT is used as gas on Gate
Layer).
3️⃣
Price Action & "Smart
Money" Flows: For short-term plays, I watch the 24h Volume/Market Cap ratio. A
sudden spike in volume on a new listing often signals institutional
accumulation before a secondary rally.
