Ripple co-founder David Schwartz announces role change: transitioning from CTO to Board Advisor
【Crypto World】Ripple officials previously announced an important personnel change, with Honorary Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz officially updating his social media profile to reflect this transition. Starting from early 2026, Schwartz will officially step down from his role as Chief Technology Officer.
During the transition period, his final administrative tasks included joining the Ripple board of directors and serving as an advisor to XRP financial company Evernorth. As a co-creator of the XRP Ledger, Schwartz stated in a public statement that although his official role is changing, he will continue to stay deeply involved with the XRP community by operating his own nodes and engaging in research work.
It is worth noting that Schwartz recently issued a warning regarding social media impersonation issues. He mentioned that he is rarely active on Instagram, and if an account claims to be him, it is likely a scam. Interested community members should stay vigilant when following his updates.
