KDK is not positioned as one of the "rapid hype" projects we've recently seen on Gate Launchpad.
The launch structure and event setup are progressing in a more controlled manner; this makes a significant difference in expectation management.
Looking at previous Launchpad examples, we generally see two outcomes from the USDT betting process:
1. Project Screening and Admission
The Gate team will conduct a strict review of projects applying to launch on the Launchpad, assessing the project's technical feasibility, team background, business prospects, and more. Only projects that pass the review can enter the Launchpad process, ensuring that users are provided with investment opportunities that have certain potential.
2 Subscription Method
Dual currency support: Users are usually allowed to participate in subscriptions using Gate platform coin (such as GT) or mainstream stablecoins (such as USDT, USDC, USD1, etc.). Some projects will also support specific compliant stablecoins (such as GUSD), providing users with more options.
Subscription limit: Each project will set a subscription limit for individual users to ensure fairness and liquidity of the project. For example, some projects may limit the subscription amount for a single person to not exceed a certain number of tokens or dollar value.
3 Subscription Calculation and Distribution Users lock a certain amount of subscription coins (such as stablecoins or platform coins) during the subscription period. The system will calculate and allocate the corresponding project tokens based on the proportion of the user's average locked amount per hour to the total subscription amount. This means that early participants with a higher locked amount may receive more token allocation.
4 Price and Unlocking Rules
Fixed subscription price: Each project will set a fixed subscription price during the Launchpad phase, and users purchase project tokens at this price. The price is usually determined through negotiations between the project party and Gate and may be lower than or equal to the expected market price after the project goes live.
Token Unlocking: The unlocking rules for tokens vary by project, commonly including immediate unlocking (such as the KDK project), phased unlocking, or unlocking after a certain period of locking. Some projects promise to refund users' invested funds or tokens if the token price falls below the subscription price after the launch.
5 Liquidity and Subsequent Support
Gate will provide certain liquidity support for Launchpad projects, such as offering market-making services for trading pairs after the project goes live to ensure the trading activity of tokens on the platform. At the same time, Gate may also collaborate with project teams to promote the listing of tokens on other exchanges, expanding the circulation range of tokens.
Overall, Gate Launchpad provides users with the opportunity to participate in early cryptocurrency project investments through rigorous project screening, flexible subscription mechanisms, and liquidity support, while also offering project parties a channel for rapid financing and launching.
