Because the settlement rules have strict limitations: it must be "formally confirmed by any federal authority of the United States" that the video is fabricated (or not a real recording) in order for it to settle as Yes. This means that even if it is technically proven that the video is CGI animation, if U.S. government agencies choose to remain silent and not issue an official qualitative statement on this erroneous release before the January 10 deadline, from the perspective of the rules, this market will still settle as No.
The result was that it was automatically settled 😂 I can only slowly play the arbitrage direction like an ant moving its home.
