Golden Finance reports that Kevin Hassett, director of the National Economic Council at the White House, stated that President Trump will appoint his own person as the chairman of the Fed, and once this happens, the Fed will no longer be an issue. Hassett mentioned that he believes the U.S. economy is not in a "jobs recession" and the situation of exceeding inflation rates has ended. At the same time, in line with Goolsbee's views, there is still ample room for interest rate cuts.
