Today, the account received a deposit of 470 bucks, and this feels even better than the previous unrealized gains of several thousand dollars.
How was I before? I used to open large positions, staring at a $1,200 unrealized profit without even blinking, always waiting for a $1,000 breakout before closing—only for the market to turn around, giving back all the profits and even exiting at a loss. There was only one thought in my mind: BTC must eat 3,000-4,000 points, and ETH at least 300 points to count as a win. Greed took over, I stubbornly held onto losing positions, and in the end, got completely liquidated.
I took a week off to cool down, and today I started again. I actually got excited when I made $35 on a trade—now that's how a normal person should react. My strategy has changed: take small profits steadily, cut losses quickly, and completely quit that suicidal Martingale position doubling.
My girlfriend took out 7,000 from her 13,000 and deposited it; I also quit my job, moving forward with debt on my back. Oh market, can you be a little kinder to me?

Damn, my mindset has totally changed since getting liquidated. Small gains can actually make me happy now—that's progress, I guess.

Haha, bro, this realization came a bit late, but at least you made it back alive. I get why you’d be excited over $35—it feels way better than staring at the charts and cursing when your mindset is collapsing.

I understand this change in mindset—if you can get excited over $35, it really means you've figured it out. Just be careful not to get envious again later and fall back into it.

That’s quite a drastic change in attitude—getting excited over $35... Shows they really got a wake-up call. But using his girlfriend’s money to increase his position, that’s a pretty heavy bet.

This change in mindset is really incredible. From not even caring about a thousand dollars to getting super excited over $35—bro, you’ve truly figured it out.

Damn, getting excited over $35? That’s quite the change, haha. No wonder they say small amounts are more satisfying.
