Here's something interesting from yesterday's on-chain activity (data snapshot around 7:30 PM MT, Dec 6):
Across five major proof-of-work chains, we're looking at 262,871 total transactions. But the distribution? Pretty telling.
Litecoin absolutely dominated with 192,975 transactions—that's nearly three-quarters of the entire volume (73.5%). Meanwhile, the rest are fighting for scraps: Dogecoin grabbed 23,819 (9.0%), Dash logged 23,219 (8.9%), Bitcoin Cash came in at 18,317 (6.9%), and Zcash barely registered with 4,451 (1.7%).
Put another way: if you combined BCH, DASH, DOGE, and ZEC transactions together, they'd still only reach 36.17% of what Litecoin processed alone in a single day.
The gap in network activity speaks volumes about where actual usage is happening right now.

These numbers for LTC are really outrageous—one coin is taking up the volume of four coins? Feels like the other coins need to reflect on this.

Is LTC really this strong? I totally didn't expect it to outperform so many others.

LTC is this strong? It feels like no one usually uses it... Could there be an issue with the data?

LTC is this strong? Honestly, I'm a bit surprised... a 73.5% share, and even all the other coins combined can't beat it. The gap in this battleground is huge.
