🧵 Does buying Bitcoin depend on the movement of the US market?
After reading my perspective and the chart, you can determine your purchase 👇
US exchanges are trading near their all-time highs, while Bitcoin is still relatively far from its previous peak, but it has shown stronger performance than most traditional assets.
The idea that Bitcoin moves with the same dynamics as the US market has become outdated and inaccurate. There is correlation during downturns due to fear and liquidity factors, but:
▫️ It is not consistent during uptrends ▫️ It cannot be relied on as a trading model ▫️ It varies depending on the market cycle
Currently, Bitcoin has independent drivers such as flows, institutional purchases, network events, and supply policies, which may make it take a completely different path from the S&P and Nasdaq.
Therefore, correlation during downturns can happen, but correlation during uptrends is no longer a rule you can rely on.
✍️ Have you made your decision to buy or changed your mind $BTC ?
