Just grabbed my 1-year anniversary NFT on HyperEVM through a minting platform. Got ranked #52,437 out of 167,431 participants – not bad for a year's journey! Also sitting in the top 12% on another tracking protocol. These milestone NFTs are becoming a pretty cool way to flex your on-chain history. Wild how competitive even anniversary mints are getting these days. Anyone else collecting these digital stamps?

ngl the ranking optics here are... arguably presenting non-trivial perception management challenges. top 12% reads nice but against 167k participants? the denominator conveniently shifts narratives, doesn't it

Haha, this ranking... honestly, it's a bit inflated. Out of hundreds of thousands of people, I'm ranked over 50,000.

Haha, no, this ranking sounds like self-mockery.

What’s the ranking for 52437? These numbers look ridiculous—out of 167431 participants, you’re telling me this is a top performance? I’d like to see the capital flow. I’m really curious about the chip distribution for this kind of anniversary mint.

NGL, this ranking is pretty competitive. Out of 167k people, being in the 50,000s is still considered average...

The ranking mechanism, to put it simply, is just another kind of incentive-compatible game. Among over 50,000 participants, being ranked around 5,000 is quite an interesting data design—it gives people a sense of participation without disappointing the majority, a classic Pareto distribution. But that said, if things like anniversary mint are really going to take off, we need to think about the governance logic. Right now, each platform is issuing these independently without a unified consensus mechanism. Sooner or later, it will turn into what happened with last year's profile pic NFTs. The lessons from history are right there.
