What's going on with the $PIPPIN funding rate? How can the long and short funding rates be so different during the same period?
This looks ridiculous. Are the shorts being targeted? Or is the platform intentionally designed this way? Can someone explain the logic behind this? It doesn't feel right.

Honestly, this fee rate difference is pretty harsh. Did the short sellers get screwed over?

Unequal fees are nothing new; that's just how platforms are.

It's completely normal to get liquidated when shorting.

The difference in fees is really outrageous; I feel like I've been ripped off.

well, *actually* if you examine the funding rate mechanics on most perp dex's, asymmetric rates between longs and shorts are... fundamentally a feature, not a bug. most platforms use this to balance order flow. but yeah, if the spread's that egregious, either they're deliberately extracting fees or their oracle's borked. show me the numbers tho

Hi, this fee rate is ridiculously high. The platform is really ruthless with these tactics.

The funding rate is determined by the number of longs and shorts. When the funding rate is positive, longs pay funding to shorts, and vice versa...🙏
