⌠ Recent transformation into a game king and short-term plan sharing ⌡
(This article is purely a casual share, you can skip it) Recently, I have been maintaining a state of rest, so I haven’t posted anything. I have basically not made any moves on-chain because I’m afraid of falling into a situation where the harder I try, the more I lose, so I’ve forced myself to play games as much as possible. In fact, I haven’t played games for over a year, and now I’m in a state of revenge gaming. However, to be frank, the dopamine release from gaming is indeed not as good as making money in crypto. Therefore, I have made some new plans recently. Assuming the market does not return to its former glory, I will follow my plan below to avoid falling into laziness during the bear market. Posting this is also a way to supervise myself.
1. Start reading the books you wanted to read before.
2. Learn and build some algorithmic arbitrage tools
3. Research the market forecasts and learn to think of profit-making strategies
4. Take care of your body and start doing some exercise
5. Slowly digest the good articles that Readwise has retained from the past.
I am still thinking about algorithmic arbitrage. Mainly, the market is not good, and there are too many ghost stories in DeFi. If I want my money to work for me, aside from the brainless coin-earning methods of CEX, a relatively safe approach might be to develop some algorithmic arbitrage strategies myself, ensuring that I have as much control as possible (of course, ensuring the program does not have bugs is also a significant subject of study).
I have some thoughts on prediction markets. Although I've seen that many predecessors say this area is very competitive, I plan to find some time to familiarize myself with the operating logic and try to see if I can find Alpha. Personally, I believe prediction markets are still in their early stages, and there are many opportunities worth exploring.
There’s not much to say about exercise. During a bear market, it’s really important to take care of your health. I've slowly started to change my diet recently, and I hope I can stick to doing some aerobic exercises and fitness, at least to get rid of the red flags in my health check... Otherwise, like during this wave of BNBChain’s dog frenzy, I only lasted two weeks before I collapsed.
In addition, I have actually been thinking about whether I should take this opportunity to travel more. I have always been quite reluctant to go out, fearing that I might miss various money-making opportunities. However, the current market situation has really allowed me to let go. Perhaps only in this situation can I truly liberate myself and go out to have fun, so I have been making some plans. I should probably start by going to Hong Kong!
In addition to the few things I am very clear about doing, I have also been thinking about whether to return to National Chengchi University to finish my thesis and complete my master's degree.
I mainly haven't finished my master's degree at NCCU yet. To avoid military service, I've already delayed my graduation for two years, which is the maximum limit for a regular extension. After this, unless I finish my thesis, I will be expelled. Honestly, I don't think this degree is very important; my motivation is actually that there are currently some good opportunities to avoid serving, and the requirement is to complete the master's program 😂. However, the professors are quite strict about the thesis, so I'm still thinking... If I get in and it lowers my IQ for a few months, I might really go crazy.
