Bitwise Research Director: If encryption assets are included in 401(k), it could attract up to $800 billion in capital inflow.

According to Hashkey News, Ryan Rasmussen, head of research at Bitwise, stated that if encryption assets account for 1% to 10% of the total assets in 401(k) retirement accounts, the corresponding potential inflow of funds could reach between $80 billion and $800 billion. Bitwise data shows that as of the second quarter of 2024, the total assets of 401(k) plans in the United States are nearing $8 trillion.
