On June 24, CoinDesk reported that U.S. President Donald Trump urged the House of Representatives to swiftly pass the stablecoin regulatory bill recently approved by the Senate, but one of the key lawmakers responsible for promoting the bill stated on Monday that there are still some details that need to be coordinated and resolved. French Hill, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee and long-time debater on stablecoin issues, stated that he is reluctant to commit to House members abandoning modifications to the Senate bill. He mentioned that discussions are currently taking place with leadership, and there are still many issues to be resolved between the version of the bill passed by the Senate and the version being developed in the House.
