According to Bloomberg, OpenAI investors are pressuring the board to reverse its decision to fire Altman’s CEO and remove him as a director, according to people familiar with the matter.
Some investors, including prominent venture capital firm Thrive Capital, are in talks with Microsoft, OpenAI’s largest shareholder, over reinstating Altman as CEO, according to people familiar with the matter. Since the negotiations are not public, anonymity is requested.
