Volkswagen Group Singapore has partnered with FOMO Pay to implement cryptocurrency payments for vehicles and services starting from August 14, 2025. Customers can now use BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC to purchase vehicles or make after-sales payments, with a limit of 4,500 SGD per day and 13,500 SGD Accumulation.
This solution is built on the enterprise infrastructure of FOMO Pay, ensuring fast transaction speed, safety, and compliance with the regulations of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). In particular, the support for stablecoins such as USDT and USDC helps expand payment options, meeting the increasing demand of customers who favor digital assets.
Although the market has not recorded significant fluctuations in on-chain data, Volkswagen Singapore’s move reflects a positive shift, as cryptocurrencies are increasingly being accepted in legal and transparent payment channels in Singapore.
