Gate Alpha Points Airdrop Phase 156 – Special Airdrop for ETF Token XAU3L

Gate Alpha XAU3L airdrop is about to begin for eligible users. This event adopts a high, medium, and low tiered structure.
Users who meet the points requirements will be automatically assigned to a points tier for airdrop claiming based on their current points balance. Users cannot independently choose the points airdrop tier, and each airdrop can only be claimed at one tier reward.

Note

1.To claim tiered points airdrops, the App must be updated to version 7.20 or above. The Web platform will be simultaneously available. Users who have not updated can choose to participate on the Web.
2.For this airdropped token, if on-chain trading has not yet been enabled, users must wait until its on-chain trading function is activated before they can trade.

Special Airdrop Claim Instructions: For this airdrop event, rewards will be claimed using a minimal amount of KDK as a substitute. After the event ends, the corresponding ETF token XAU3L will be airdropped to users who claimed KDK. The airdrop will be distributed within 24 hours, and users can check it in their [Assets] section.

About XAU3L

XAU3L is a derivative product that tracks the price movements of XAU. It is designed to provide 3x leveraged long exposure to the return of XAU. For example, if the price of XAU increases by 1%, the NAV of XAU3L will rise by 3%.
XAU3L amplifies gains and losses through leverage and maintains 3x leverage by rebalancing using perpetual contract hedging (adding positions when in profit and reducing positions when in loss). This mechanism may cause performance to deviate from expectations. Due to the rebalancing process, the NAV may decay more rapidly in volatile markets. Therefore, leveraged tokens are only suitable for short-term trading or professional hedging, and are not appropriate for long-term holding.
To enhance the trading experience and optimize price precision, Gate will periodically conduct consolidation for leveraged tokens. During the consolidation process, trading will be temporarily suspended. Users' holdings will be reduced to 1/1000 of the original amount, while the NAV per unit will increase by 1000 times. The total value of users' holdings will remain unchanged.
