To further enhance the trading experience and ensure the security of user assets, Gate will implement the following adjustments to Kadena (KDA) derivative trading pairs, in accordance with our regular project review mechanism:
I. Adjustments Details
1. Removal of Margin Trading Pairs
Gate has disabled the margin borrowing services for Kadena (KDA).
If you have outstanding margin loans involving Kadena (KDA), please repay them in advance. Any unpaid loans will be automatically settled by 08:00 UTC on October 31, 2025.
2. Delisting of Futures Trading Pairs
If you currently hold open positions in the KDAUSDT perpetual futures market, please adjust your strategy in advance. Starting from 07:30 (UTC) on October 31, 2025, the KDAUSDT perpetual futures market will be set to reduce-only mode.
At 08:00 UTC on October 31, 2025, Gate will automatically settle all open positions at the average index price over the last 30 minutes prior to the suspension of futures trading in related markets. Any unfilled orders will be canceled automatically. If you have open positions in these markets, please adjust your investment strategy and manually close your positions before 08:00 (UTC) on October 31, 2025, to avoid forced settlement.
II. User Action Required
- Perpetual Futures trading: Close your positions in advance to avoid liquidation.
- Margin trading: Repay any outstanding loans promptly to prevent auto-settlement.
- Spot trading: Kadena (KDA) spot trading remains unaffected.
