The GateChain is scheduled to upgrade its mainnet to version v19 & v20 on September 15, 2025, between 05:00 and 10:00 UTC. The upgrade is expected to take 5 hours, during which RPC services may be unavailable. To prevent any potential disruptions or losses, users are advised to pause all on-chain transactions via RPC during this upgrade window.
All consensus-participating nodes must upgrade their node binaries to remain compatible.
This upgrade introduces Blob transactions (EIP-4844) along with multiple important EVM and RPC improvements.
