To further enhance the user experience, the BTC Staking product will undergo an upgrade, scheduled to go live by 10:00 (UTC) on July 30, 2025. Key updates during and after the upgrade are as follows:
1. Conversion Rate Mechanism Adjustment
- The previous fixed conversion rate (BTC:GTBTC = 1:1) will switch to a dynamic model. The initial rate remains 1:1.
- The rate will be updated once daily. During the update window (about 30 minutes), staking and redemption will be temporarily paused, and a notice will be shown on the interface.
2. Earnings Settlement Changes
- Daily distribution of base interest will end on July 31.
- Under the new model, interest will be settled in full when you redeem your BTC. The system will calculate your total payout (principal + earnings) based on the real-time conversion rate at redemption. (Earnings = Redemption Amount – Staked Principal)
- Any promotional bonus rewards will continue to be distributed daily during the campaign period.
3. App Version Requirement
- Older versions of the app still support staking operations (executed based on the conversion rate at the time).You can find the current rate under [About Staking] - [Overview].
- To redeem, please update to version 7.14.0 or above. We strongly recommend using the latest app version for the best experience.
4. GTBTC Feature Expansion
- Once the upgrade is complete, GTBTC will progressively support Crypto Loan, and deposit/withdrawal.
