Step 1: Open the Gate App, then tap [Deposit] – [P2P] on the home page, or go to [Profile] – [P2P].
Step 2: On the Fiat Trading page, tap [Ads] at the bottom, then tap [Post Ad] in the middle of the screen or the [＋] icon at the top right.
Tap the dropdown arrow at the top to select the crypto and fiat currencies. Then choose between [Fixed Price] or [Floating Price] and enter the required details (price, amount, total, min/max amount per trade, and trading terms or auto-reply). You may also set trading restrictions (VIP level, registration days, and whether to trade with other merchants).
Step 3: Select your payment method, confirm all details are correct, then tap [Confirm Publishing].
Step 4: Once your ad is posted successfully, you can view it under [Ads] at the bottom of the page.
- To cancel or deactivate your ad, tap [Delete] or use the toggle button to switch your ad status to [Offline].
- To edit your ad (e.g. update the price), tap [Edit].
- To share your ad with others, tap the [Share] icon at the top right to generate a QR code for trading.
Step 5: Once an order is matched, go to [Orders] – [Pending] to view it. The seller's payment details will be shown on the page (if hidden, tap the [Chat] icon to contact the seller). Make the payment according to the seller's information, then tap [I have paid] and wait for the seller to release the crypto.
Note:
The buyer must complete payment manually within [20 minutes] (the platform does not deduct funds automatically) and tap [I have paid]. If not completed within 20 minutes, the order will be automatically canceled and the crypto returned to the seller's account for reposting. Failure to follow these steps may result in the loss of both your funds and crypto!
