XRP Address Activity Falls 85% as Ripple Tests Institutional Settlement Rails
New daily XRP Ledger addresses fell 85% to 5,020 from about 18,000 in December 2024, according to Glassnode data. Ripple, Ondo Finance, JPMorgan’s Kinexys, and Mastercard completed a pilot transaction that settled a tokenized U.S. Treasury fund redemption across borders on the XRP Ledger. RWA.xyz data shows tokenized real-world assets on the XRP Ledger topped $2.43 billion, including more than $403 million in tokenized U.S. Treasuries.
