Hassett Says Inflation Is Stable and Fed Need Not Raise Rates
White House National Economic Council Director Hassett said there are no signs that inflation is spiraling out of control and the Fed does not need to raise interest rates. Hassett said employment data over the past two months has been strong, the job market is hot, and core inflation remains stable despite oil prices and jobs data.
