I've recently looked at the options market and felt a mix of amusement and anxiety... Buyers wake up every day first getting gouged by time value, it feels like the market isn't moving against you, but the calendar is challenging you; sellers, on the surface, collect premium comfortably, but when there's a sudden pull, it's like holding a time bomb, earning money just to avoid disaster. Frankly, who does the time value eat? It eats those who hesitate, those who haven't clearly thought about whether they want direction or volatility.

These days, I keep seeing memes and celebrity calls, and as soon as attention shifts, newcomers get super excited. As an old cautious guy, I just want to wait for confirmation... don't take the final step, especially don't gamble on short-term options to chase hype. Once the time passes, the hype and premium evaporate together.

My partner also complained about me: "You even pause on restructuring news, do you need a flowchart to buy an option?" I said it's not impossible, just write out the worst-case scenario first, then I dare to click.
