A project for training AI agents with knowledge of departing employees has become popular in China.

In China, the Colleague Skill project has gone viral, which trains AI agents with the skills and knowledge of a company's employee before their dismissal.
The developer positions the tool as a way to more effectively "say goodbye" to colleagues.
The service allows "transferring" an AI assistant the professional knowledge of an employee, details of working with information, communication style during chats and calls.
To train it, messages from work chats, documents, spreadsheets, emails, audio recordings, and screenshots need to be uploaded.
Colleague Skill can write code based on technical specifications, answer questions, and even shift blame onto others.
Users reacted negatively to the situation — they called the process "employee distillation."
A project called Anti distillation skill has appeared online, which is supposed to help protect against knowledge copying.
