Gate DEX Swap Product Update: Officially Supports Centralized Liquidity

Abstract generation in progress

Gate Swap’s concentrated liquidity feature runs on the Gatelayer network. By allowing liquidity providers (LPs) to deploy funds within a custom price range, it significantly improves capital efficiency and increases fee earnings.

  1. Higher capital efficiency: the same funds can provide deeper liquidity depth

  2. More fee earnings: within active price ranges, LPs can earn a higher proportion of fee sharing

  3. More flexible strategies: you can independently adjust the price range based on market conditions

Step 1: Create and Add Liquidity

  1. Preparation: make sure your wallet is switched to the Gatelayer chain, and that you hold enough tokens for the trading pair and GT (to pay Gas fees).

  2. Choose parameters:

  • Go to the “Liquidity” page and click “Create Liquidity”.

  • Select the trading pair (e.g., ETH/USDT) and set the fee tier (0.05% / 0.30% / 1.00%).

  1. Set the price range:
  • Custom Range: manually input or drag the chart to set the upper and lower price limits. The narrower the range, the higher the fee share, but once the price moves outside the range, earnings will stop.

  • Full Range (Full Range): similar to traditional AMMs, with no price limitations but lower capital efficiency.

  1. Inject funds

Enter the amount; the system will automatically match the ratio. Click “Approve” and “Add Liquidity” in sequence, and confirm in your wallet.

  1. Hold the certificate

After success, you will receive an NFT as the sole proof to manage this position.

Step 2: How to view my positions and claim earnings

  1. View position status: monitor your positions under the “My Positions” tab.
  • In Range (In Range): your funds are actively working and earning fees.

  • Out of Range (Out of Range): the current price has deviated from the set range, and earnings are paused.

  1. Claim earnings: go to the position details page, click the “Claim” button. Unclaimed token earnings will be sent directly to your wallet.

  2. Remove liquidity: on the details page, click “Remove Liquidity”, select the removal ratio (25% / 50% / 75% / 100%), and confirm. Tokens and accumulated fees will be returned to your wallet together.

Notes

  1. Impermanent loss risk: although concentrated liquidity increases returns, it also concentrates the impermanent loss risk.

  2. Dynamic adjustment: if the price continuously goes out of the range, it is recommended to adjust the range settings promptly to restore earnings.

  3. Network confirmation: all operations must be performed on the Gatelayer network. Please reserve a small amount of GT for on-chain interaction fees.
