ME News, April 11 (UTC+8). On the local time of the 11th, an Iranian source said that Iran-set conditions for launching negotiations, including unfreezing Iranian frozen assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon, have not yet been met. However, earlier, a senior Iranian official said that the United States has agreed to unfreeze Iran’s “frozen assets in banks in Qatar and other countries.” The U.S. has not made any public response regarding the unfreezing of Iranian assets. Iran Islamic Parliament Speaker Kalibaf posted on social media on the 10th, saying that two conditions must be met before negotiations begin: first, a ceasefire in Lebanon; second, the unfreezing of Iranian frozen assets.
