ME News report. On April 11 (UTC+8), local time on the 11th, an Iranian source said that the Iran-side conditions for launching negotiations—such as the unfreezing of Iranian frozen assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon—have not yet been met. However, earlier, a senior Iranian official said that the United States has agreed to unfreeze Iranian “frozen assets in banks in Qatar and other countries.” The U.S. has not yet issued any public response regarding the unfreezing of Iranian assets. Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker Qalibaf wrote on social media on the 10th that two conditions must be met before negotiations begin: first, a ceasefire in Lebanon; second, the unfreezing of Iranian frozen assets.
