Iran Denies Negotiating with the U.S. Again: Will Not Trade the Opening of the Strait of Hormuz for "Empty Promises"

CCTV News reported that, as of local time on the 7th, a senior Iranian source said that the United States hopes Iran will yield under pressure, but Iran is currently “not negotiating” with the United States. The source also said that Pakistan has been continuing to convey messages to Iran, but the U.S.’s “tone” has not changed. He emphasized that what the United States wants is to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but Iran will not exchange “empty promises” for the reopening of the strait. If the United States attacks Iran’s power generation facilities, the entire Middle East will fall into complete darkness. If the situation gets out of control, Iran’s allies will also close the Strait of Mandeb. (CCTV News)
