Abstract generation in progress

After the full open-source release on March 4, the global popularity of Leap Star’s new-generation base model Step 3.5 Flash continued to surge further, with model call volume on OpenClaw steadily rising for two days to reach the No. 1 position worldwide. Some overseas developers believe that the level of open-sourcing for this model is “very rare” in the current large-model market at this stage, because the usual practice of model companies is to open-source finished models (which enables developers to deploy directly, but offers limited flexibility). The Leap Star Algorithm Team not only open-sourced the Step 3.5 Flash model, but also released the pre-trained weights (Base) and intermediate training weights (Midtrain) for this Agent base model, as well as the accompanying Steptron training framework. Not only does this support developers with more flexible secondary development, it also takes into account the real needs of the developer community, offering more diverse options.
