A money exchange shop in Hong Kong's busy district has been robbed of millions in cash again, with three incidents occurring in the past three months.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 7 — According to Caixin, on the morning of March 6, two victims exchanged approximately 10 million Hong Kong dollars at a currency exchange shop in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, and were then robbed at knifepoint inside the Sheung Wan MTR station. However, due to police pre-deployment, the suspects were caught, and the victims did not suffer any property loss. It is reported that in the past three months, three large-scale cash robberies have occurred in the Sheung Wan area of Hong Kong. Previously, on December 18, 2025, and January 30, two similar incidents involving virtual currency exchange shops and large cash robberies took place. The Hong Kong police stated they will conduct an in-depth investigation to determine whether other members or criminal groups are behind these incidents and whether there is a connection to previous robberies.
