Both Global Village, a popular open-air family destination, and Dubai Parks and Resorts, stayed closed on March 1 as well.
Dubai Parks and Resorts spans approximately 25 million square feet, and includes three theme parks - Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, and Legoland Dubai - along with Legoland Water Park, Riverland Dubai, and the Lapita Hotel.
The Ras Al Khaimah Police also announced the cancellation of their Ramadan Police Football Championship on Monday.
As a precaution, it was announced on Sunday, March 1, that Jebel Jais and all its attractions, activities, and restaurants will remain temporarily closed. Operations will resume when conditions allow.
The closure announcements came during heightened alert levels across the emirate amid recent regional security concerns. Authorities and public venues have urged residents and visitors to adhere to official instructions and safety protocols.
