Abstract generation in progress

As the impact of the Spring Festival fully subsides, temperatures across various regions steadily rise, downstream construction sites and manufacturing companies resume work and production, and the return-to-work rate of workers continues to increase. Terminal steel procurement demand is being released in an orderly manner. As an important focus in the opening year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, infrastructure investment is accelerating, with the issuance of special bonds leading the way. Major projects and key engineering initiatives are expected to be implemented more quickly, providing strong support for steel demand. The operating rates in machinery, automotive, home appliances, and new energy sectors are steadily increasing. Orders accumulated before the holiday are gradually being delivered, driving continuous improvement in industrial steel demand such as sheet metal. With port logistics and customs clearance efficiency fully restored, the pace of steel exports and deliveries has accelerated, and external demand’s support for the industry is steadily rebounding. Overall, in March, driven by multiple positive factors such as full resumption of work after the holiday, infrastructure investment efforts, continued recovery of manufacturing, and gradual recovery of exports, steel demand is generally optimistic, showing a steady recovery and ongoing improvement.
