MARA Vice President of Investor Relations Robert Samuels stated that the claim that the company will sell most of its Bitcoin reserves is not true. Samuels pointed out that in MARA's 10-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2026, it only indicated an expanded Bitcoin treasury strategy, allowing for the irregular buying and selling of Bitcoin on the balance sheet based on market conditions and capital allocation needs, and does not mean plans to liquidate most of its Bitcoin reserves. There were previous reports that MARA was adjusting its treasury strategy or selling accumulated Bitcoin.
