On January 14, IDC released its latest “Global Quarterly Smartphone Tracker” preliminary data, showing that in Q4 2025, global smartphone shipments will increase by 2.3% year-over-year to 336.3 million units. For the full year 2025, global smartphone shipments are expected to reach 1.26 billion units.

Among them, China’s smartphone market will have approximately 285 million units shipped in 2025, a decrease of 0.6% year-over-year. The top five brands by shipment volume are Huawei, Apple, vivo, Xiaomi, and OPPO.
