To address this crisis and ensure the country's strategic fuel reserves for 60 days, Thailand has activated the "Energy Emergency Monitoring Center." Additionally, to reduce dependence on imported fuels, Thailand has ordered coal and hydroelectric power plants to operate at maximum capacity and has increased domestic natural gas production. The Thai government will use the National Fuel Fund to subsidize fuel prices to protect the public from soaring energy costs.
