Amir Receives Phone Call From Somali President

Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Sunday from the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

At the outset of the call, HE the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar following the Iranian attacks, voicing Somalia’s full solidarity with the State of Qatar.

In turn, HH the Amir voiced his thanks and appreciation to HE the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia for his solidarity, noting the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the two fraternal countries.

Both sides stressed the need to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy as a means to resolve the current crisis and spare the region further escalation.
