ChainCatcher news: Social platform X announces the lifting of the ban on cryptocurrency and gambling promotion content, allowing industry KOLs to monetize crypto content under the new paid partnership framework. Posts must be labeled with “Paid Partnership.”

However, crypto promotional content remains restricted by financial promotion laws in the EU, UK, and Australia. KOLs must ensure such content is not visible in these markets. X product lead Nikita Bier stated that this feature aims to encourage users to grow their businesses on the platform while maintaining transparency.

Additionally, Elon Musk revealed that X Money, the payment system, will launch a limited beta version within the next two months. It is still unclear whether cryptocurrency features will be integrated. The X product team also plans to introduce Smart Cashtags, allowing users to trade stocks and cryptocurrencies directly on the platform.
