DJI sues the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

On February 20, 2026, Eastern Time, DJI Innovation officially filed an appeal with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the United States, challenging the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) improper decision on December 23, 2025, to place DJI and its products on the “Controlled List.” DJI stated that this move aims to protect DJI’s legal rights and interests, as well as to safeguard the benefits of American consumers and the broader agricultural industry users who rely on DJI products and are affected by the ban.
